Dance With The Devil chapter 3

Maka stared at the journal in front of her wondering if you should read it or not. She decided not to,picked it up and walked to her door,when she twisted the nob it wouldn't open "blair did you lock my door?!" maka yelled and began to pound on the door "open the door now! I have to put souls journal back!" "not until you read it maka!" blair protested and sat on the couch. Maka sighed knowing she wasn't going to win this fight and sat down on her bed,she took a deep breath and opened the journal slowly,maka began to scan the pages,and was in shock from all that she was reading,when she finished she slammed the journal close "blair open the door I read it" "ok maka" blair said and unlocked the door,maka rushed out and into souls room. "Blair where did you find this?" "under his pillow" blair replied and walked into the bedroom,maka placed the journal back under souls pillow and pulled blair out of souls room just in time,soul was walking threw the door. "Thanks for bailing on me at school maka" soul complained and put his book bag on the couch "sorry soul,I didn't mean to" "you owe me,your cooking dinner tonight" soul said with a smirk. Maka smiled and nodded once,she walked over to the fridge and began to look for what she could fine.

Maka and soul ate their spaghetti while blair ate her fish,soul kept talking about how he's tired of getting request to be different girls weapon "their only one person I want to be paired up with,and that's you maka" soul said with a smirk and stuffed his found with spaghetti. Maka's face went light red and she smiled "thanks soul,your a great partner" maka said cheerfully and soul smiled "i'm to best and coolest partner you'll ever have" soul said with a smile,got up and walked over to the sink with the dirty dishes. Maka got up and helped soul wash the dishes,when they were done maka watched soul enter the living room and flip on the tv. Maka walked to the bathroom and started the warm water,she undressed,smiled and slid into the bubbly warm water. She sighed in relief and relaxed "this feels nice" she cooed and closed her eyes "find out anything interesting?" she heard someone say,her eye's shot open and saw blair curled up on the toilet seat "b-blair,what are you doing in here!?" maka shouted and covered up her chest "maka don't worry were both women,and I know you saw something" "yea,he likes a girl but I don't think it's me" "don't worry maka,he's gotta like you,besides you two live together,and he seemed a bit flirty tonight" blair said with a giggle "whatever,just please get out!" maka said with her face red with embarrassment.

Right then as if on cue soul busted threw the door with his left arm as a red and silver scythe blade "maka are you ok I heard scream-!" soul said and stopped when he saw maka in the tub and blair sitting on the toilet seat. It was quiet and then maka screamed "soul get out!" she said grabbing a bar of soap and throwing it at him,it hit him in the head and he fell back. Blair giggled and turned into her human form "were just having a girl chat" blair said with a smile and closed the door. Maka's face was red and she had her hands over her chest. Blair sat back on the toilet seat "well that was interesting,soul here's you scream and comes to save his true loves life,how romantic!" blair cooed and giggled "get out" maka said annoyed. Blair got up and walked out "you can't deny it forever maka" blair said closing the door behind her. Maka got out of the tub,dried of and walked to her room her towel tight around her. She closed her door lightly and silently thinking soul would be asleep by now,maka changed into her pajama's and laid down. She closed her eyes and not long after heard thunder. Maka cringed at the sound and hugged her pillow. Maka's hated storms ever since she was a little girl.

She heard her door open and a bit of light crept in. Someone shut it lightly and slid into bed with her,maka turned a bit and saw soul close his eyes and hug maka from behind "night maka,sweet dreams" soul whispered to her. Maka smiled,turned around and hugged soul back "night soul" she whispered to him. Even when they were younger soul would come into maka's room at night and comfort her,he knew she was terrified of storms. She always felt safe in souls arms,she kissed souls cheek with a blush and slept peacefully in souls arms all night long...
